AMILO L-7300 no wifi network detected

Postby SZG » Sun Dec 11, 2005 10:42

I just bought the machine & it works fine. The only thing I cannot work with is the WIFI adapter. According to its spec. the machine is compatible with 802.11g networks. Installed is the network adapter "RALINK RT2500 Wireless LAN card".
In it's properties I can see that it works fine, no conflicts etc.
In spite of all this looking soo good no network is ever found although I know to have a 802.11g network around. There is NO switch and light on this computer to switch on/off the wifi adapter or show it's position.
OS is WinXP Home SP2.

First:i don't speak english very well, but i hope you understand me.......
If u want to make a wlan connection for 2 pc(1 desktop with wifi and your laptop with wifi card) you must make an AD-HOC connection (wifi card settings) and select POINT TO POINT ,look for this in wifi card settings,i don't know where exactly.
I hope that is your problem and sorry for my english!
