Notebook AH531

Postby Regikirk » Mon Feb 03, 2020 16:16

I recently replaced the Hard Drive and have a new version of Windows 10 I purchased on USB. The laptop will not load the windows USB upon starting the laptop. I have checked Bios and made sure that the Hard Drive is recognized and made sure that the USB HDD is first in line for boot. I was going the remove the CMOS battery to reset it but is too difficult to get to without first removing the whole cover and I don’t feel comfortable doing that. The USB is fine as I checked it in another laptop. It does not show Secure boot in the Bios to turn it off. I need help please

Click on the security tab under the BIOS settings.
Use the Up and Down arrow to choose the secure boot option as shown in the previous image.
Select the option using Arrows and change the secure boot from Enabled to Disabled.showbox
Press Enter.
Save your work and exit.
