Is this a faulty keyboard

Postby mikesearle128 » Mon Jan 09, 2012 20:07

Hi all
Is this a broken keyboard?
Amilo Pa 1510
Press the 'M' key and it will not work unless you either press the 'x' or the > keys first. Tried in both a word doc and Notepad. Strangely it will work if you click on Start and type into the search box.
The laptop was built with Vista and has been upgraded to Win 7 Ultimate at some point.
I have removed and cleaned out the keyboard and I have uninstalled the keyboard from within device manager and rebooted so that Windows will reinstall it.
There is on the desktop a short cut to a desktop keyboard and using this the keys still only work as above.
Anyone with any ideas?
