Hi.
I am the happy owner of a F.MYRICA CK 150X PII 350 under Windows 98.
Actually i use a 1024 connection to internet through a usb port.
I want to upgrade with a modem "Box" using an ETHERNET connection.

How to know if my PC have an ETHERNET card and if there is an ethernet plug on it ?
Thank in advance for your kind help.
.

go to device manager and you should see a entry, Network adaptors. In here mine says Realtech pci Ethernet nic. Yours would say something similar. Don’t worry if you don’t have one. They are very cheap. In a shop you could get one for £10. At a computer show, I’ve seen them for less than £5. Just make sure you have a spare PCI slot free. If you are running Win98 make sure you get a driver with it. If my memory serves me right, 98 won’t recognise it automatically 8)
