Officially there is no XP support for your notebook. On the download pages you can only get the driver for the chipset and Toshiba Bluetooth Software Update (not sure if this is full or really just an update).

If I were in your place, I'd install XP on it and see what drivers are missing. Then I'd google for them.

If you are going to install XP, make sure your Vista driver files are backed up.

Especially the wireless ones, as these are VERY hard to find for XP, if your notebook was dispatched with Vista!!! But if you don't use wireless you should be ok.

You can download Xp32-drivers for Video(hd2300+catalyst), sound+uaa, modem, lan and wireless network here.

http://rapidshare.com/files/105128070/A ... .part1.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/105128915/A ... .part2.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/105128917/A ... .part3.rar

Note:
You need to install .NET Framework 2.0(dotnetfx.exe) before the video drivers. (Included in download, Eng version)
Before you install the sound and modem drivers you need to install the UAA Function Driver for High Definition Audio(kb888111xpsp2.exe, Included in download, Eng version).
Under device manager you shall see unknown pci, this is the uaa. If you use a slipstream cd with sp3 you need to install uaa manually(Included in download).
Sata drivers included for creating slipstreaming cd's. I use Nlite to create my slipstream cd's. http://www.nliteos.com/download.html

Sorry guy's, i have uploaded the wrong version of Realtek lan-driver. :(
Here is the good one: http://rapidshare.com/files/106840936/R ... et_NIC.rar
If you have already installed the wrong one, uninstall it before installing the good one.

Hello all.
FSC amilo pi 2530, core2duo 1.5 ghz, 2g ram, hdd 120 g sata
My problem is, if you allow me to say, related to those writen above and I didn't want to open a new topic on the same theme
Shortly: read all topics related, made some mistakes, but after wasting about 4 cd's , I managed to burn a "real slipstream cd"... which, of course, wasn't the last one :) ... Managed to "almost" install xp on my laptop. I've got 2 partition. The one with vista was formated "by the book" and tried to install a fresh xp copy . All went just fine till the computer had to reboot for the very first time on the "almost" new installed xp os. As soon as the xp logo shows-up, my computer reboots and reboots and reboots... Last known good configuration/safe mode/and the rest, drove the computer on the same cycling process. Burnt the second slipstream with other xp, formatted the drive, waited for 39 minutes... same result.
Any ideas?
