hello, what it used for the usb charge? and how it works? because i have conected an usb charger whit the usb wire to the usb port wich has this function, and in battery mode it doesn´t charge, however, if i conect an usb pen in battery mode, a red led turn on

You can use it for an external 2.5"Hd. You don't need a y-cable(2 usb ports).
You can also charge your Gsm with it.
