[Esprimo Mobile] RecoveryDVD how to install drivers & ut

Postby path29 » Thu Jan 31, 2008 12:02

Hi

I was hoping you could help me.

I have a Esprimo Mobile V5535 Notebook and recently I used the Recovery DVD to reformat and reinstall Windows Vista Home Basic. Obviously with the reformatting of the primary partition, all programs and utilities were wiped from the hard drive. The installation files for all drivers and utilities are on a separate partition and I want to reinstall them. I'm assuming there's a quick way to do it via a wizard program, however I cant figure it out.

Can anyone help me with this? Please tell me theres a quick way to do it and that I dont need to go through each program individually.

Kind Regards
Cheers

Pat

Search for an .iso-file on this partition. With this iso-file you can burn you drivers&utilities dvd.

Call your local help desk and tell them that your cd/dvd is unreadable (damaged). The help desk will provide you a download link with the iso image of the cd/dvd that you are looking for.

I'm not sure if this is valid during the entire warranty period or not. In any case it should be available minimum 6 months from the day of purchase. You've got nothing to loose, so give them a call.

Hi there,

Apologies if this is wrong.

I did a full re-format on my Amilo Li 1718, and as well as the recovery DVD, I recieved another disk called Drivers and Utilities? Have you got that disk?

If you have just whack it in, and all your drivers should be there.
