I have been powering my Loox N500 from a multi-voltage car adaptor.
Inadvertently I switched its voltage to 12V without knowing it and left the Loox running. It seemed all right but later had switched off and that's when I discovered the over-voltage. It will not switch back on, even with the battery swapped.
Has anyone faced this? Is the device and/or its data recoverable or repairable?
