[Scaleo P] Zooming sound Scaleo P

Postby a-word » Thu Feb 01, 2007 10:19

Hi ya'll..
I got a question regarding to my Scaleo P. When I'm in windows, I hear a zooming sound coming out of my computer, not the boxes or something... It is really an unnatural sound and the weirdest part about it is that when I rightclick some drive in My Computer, that sound stays away as long as I keep that rightclick-menu open...

How could this be? And how can I solve this?
From what I assumed, it's a symptome that my HD is about to crash completely... What do you all think about it?

Did you open and clean you computer from dust?
Try to run it while it is opened and recognize, which unit gives the sound.
If this is the HD then you are right about its soon death.
But I think that this is some electric inductivity from some chips, which is coming, when you do something. I often hear zomming sound, when I minimizing/maximizing windows in Windows.
How loud is the sound that you hear?
