[P5916] unwanted reboot

Hello,

I have ESPRIMO P5916 running under Vista 32bits (MSDN licence).

My computer reboot sometimes when i m doing a vista benchmark.
It also reboot when i start playing Age Of Empire 3 and in soldier of fortune after a certain time.
My work colleague has exactly the same computer with the same OS etc....everything same, he never had this problem.

I formatted my computer and retry all those applications it s still the same.

Do you have any clue ? I think it must be a hardware problem...

Did you upgrade any components of the PC?

If you did then this probably would be a lack of power.
If you did not then you would want to bring your PC to a service center and they will replace some parts (MB/CPU/video)...

Just had an extra 1Gb memory but my colleagues as well and he has no problem.

I think i m going to see with the warrantly then

Hello Alberic,

I guess you do not know that ESPRIMO P5916 is not release with Windows VISTA yet! There are some Interfaces to iAMT hardware which need VISTA drivers. Maybe this is a root cause of your problem.

The other possibility is what was mentioned before. This ESPRIMO is a business model with no support for high end grafic cards!!!!! Think about that!
