Scenic 300

I have been given a scenic 300 computer, but the front panel connector 7 strand cable is disconnected from the 10 holed plug to the main board. Which strands should be connected to which pins, please.

which type of SCENIC 300 do you have? Which motherboard is in it? With this information you'll find the pinning of the front panel connector.

My Scenic 300 is the 361 P111 450.

I'm not sure how to identify the motherboard.

On the motherboard there is a number like S26361-D11....
This D11.. is what you need to identify your board

I can see the following on the motherboard - W26361-W10. Could this be the vital number?

no it isn't! There must be a Dxxxx number.

Here you'll find the additional technical manual of the D1107:

The pinning of the D1141 is the same. Have a look on page 7 or 8. One of this two versions should match to your board.

Many thanks. I'm up and running.

I had downloaded the manual previously, and followed the circuit, but without result. Having tried again, following your recommended link, I was surprised to see the same circuit as before. I then found the problem, all the time, was a broken wire. That is now mended.
