UBS BT

Postby Angelucci » Sat Feb 11, 2006 10:38

After re-installing windows-XP into my Lifebook S7010D, an unknown device remains: UBS BT (the hardware ID is USB\\VID_044E&PID_3001). I can't find any driver to solve it. Could you help me.
Thanks. Daniele.

Hi Daniele,

together with your S7010D you got some CD's !
If you use XP Prof. change the user to computer administrator.
Take the CD labeled with:
CONNECT2AIR, BLUETOOTH,Broadcom Software Suite Vxxxx
and put the CD in your CD device. Then start the device manager, give the USB BT a right click .... and install the drivers from the CD.
After that you can also start the setup.exe from that CD and install the
bluetooth software.

Good luck !

Hi Guys...

...I'm currently using a WinXp Pro OS on my S7010D...

...I have exactly the same problem Daniele posted so far...

I found very useful the (Fujitsu Siemens) online tool which automatically installs up-to-date drivers on my system...but, at the moment, there are no Bluetooth related drivers online for my laptop.

I lost the CD i got with my laptop...how could I re-install the bluetooth device USB BT without the CONNECT2AIR, BLUETOOTH,Broadcom Software Suite Vxxxx CD???

Thanks.

Perhaps you can use the Bluetooth Drivers from S7010.
Those are downloadable in the Driver Support Area at FSC.

Thankz CelsiusUser....

None of the four files available here...

http://www.fujitsu-siemens.it/support/downloads_1.html

...in the bluetooth subsection of S7010 seem to work for the BT device on my S7010D...

This unfairness between S7010 and S7010D is quite awkward for such a big company....in my opinion.

Anyways... I'm still trying to solve this problem...

...every advice is well accepted...especially if it works!!! jaja
