Scenic Pro D6

I would be very grateful to whom can help me find out the motherboard guide of my Scenic Pro P6 with a PII 233. I tried to install a video card on the AGP slot but it didn't work. I of course told the bios not to use the motherboard video chip. Thank you.

Not much info to go on, but nevertheless: most likely the AGP-slot is dedicated to the onboard videocard. If so, this would mean that you can only add a separate PCI videocard.

Thank You for the answer.I still don't understand why there is an AGP slot I cannot use. Does anybody have an idea on how to get the instructions booklet of this old but still fine-working model? Thank You again.<P>

What kind of mainboard is in this machine, you should find something like D943 or D1085.<BR>If you know this it is possible to find the manual for this mainboard.<P>

if you have a Scenic Pro D6 i think there`s a Siemens D981 Mainboard inside. If its so you only can use AGP 1X/2X cards. If you use cards with AGP 4X support it doesn`t work with this mainboard.

I tried with a matrox 400 and couldn't make it work. The computer is working all right with a Mystique... for net sailing is all right. Thank you<P>
