Upgrade Suse Enterprise 7 to 8 on Primergy N800?

Hello,<P><BR>I am trying to upgrade a Primergy N800 box with SUSE 7 to SLES8 (Suse Enterprise). I boot from the SLES8 CD but then the installation process hangs while probing USB devices.<P>Is the N800 not supported for SLES8?<BR>Do I need to load special driver/modules during installation?<P>Many thank's

Hello, <BR>Primergy N800 is certified only for SUSE SLES 7 native kernel 2.4.18; so SLES 8 is not officially released.<P>But I can give you a clues : Try to turn off ACPI by using the acpi=off or acpi=oldboot kernel boot option<BR>
