Installing new drives

Postby neville.styles » Wed Jun 20, 2018 11:19

I have a TX100 S3 server with 2 500GB hard drives configured as RAID1. All is fine, however the drives are running out of space, so I want to replace both with new 1TB drives. Can someone advise me what is the best procedure to do this please, without having to restore a backup. I am hoping there must be a way of letting the RAID Manager sort it out

There is no simple way to do this although some TX100 S3 base units were capable of taking 4 HDDs so you could potentially just add the two disks as extras and then create a new RAID1 on the 2 new disks and use it for data
