Q910 dual monitor

Postby fabioais » Thu Dec 05, 2013 11:01

Hi,
I going to buy a new Exprimio q910.
I want to know if I can connect two monitor ( Dvi + dispalyPort) or if I can use only one port at time.

Thanks

Hi, same issue. I got an Esprimo P920 and at the backside there are the following interfaces:
1xVGA, 1xDVI, 1XHDMI and through an extra extension card (graphi cad?) again 1xVGA, 1xDVI, 1xHDMI.
Problem: I cannot set up dual monitors (LG). The 2nd is receiving no signal. The 1st monitor is connected through the DVI slot of the extension card. I tried a lot of alternative connection configuration but could not manage to achieve dual monitor. Any hint/help is accpreiated. Thanks

I have been wondering whether this is possible too as I'm in the market for a projector with display port so wondered whether I could connect both the display port and HDMI/DVI at the same time. Is this possible or can you only use the on-board monitor along with one external output?

I think I might have found a solution that will work for me anyway. I'm going to buy an MST display port hub that I connect to the Display Port. That then gives you 3x HDMI connections that you can use to hook-up to 3x separate monitors if desired. You could use a hdmi splitter instead as another option and get a display port adapter if needed. Found some for sale but I'm weary of getting one that's too cheap and ends up failing. I'll let you know once I've bought one and tried it out.
