Is it possible to upgrade my Intel PRO Wireless 3945ABG with an card that supports N standard ?

I dont see why not the slot is just next to ram under the service plate.
The excisting WLAN card is removed via 2 screws.

I read somewhere that the amilo 1536 had 2 antennas and a N standard card 3 antennas, so i can just hook up 2 antannas and leave the third open on the card?

there are two antenna versions ie:

dont know if leaving one arial off it would work?

I've upgraded with Intel 4965 with draft-N (144 Mb/s) standard and it's working 100% in my Pi1536 with Linksys WRT-160N router. I didn't connect the third antenna, only #1 and #2.
