[SOLVED] BSOD when AHCI enabled in v6535

Postby Auzern » Sun Apr 24, 2011 18:54

Greetings.

I have just installed Windows XP Professional on ESPRIMO Mobile v6535 in IDE Mode.
Now when I change the mode from IDE to AHCI, I get the blue screen and reboots again immediately.
How do I fix this? Where can I find the drivers for it? I don't have them in the CD.
Can anyone please guide me.

Thank you in Advance.

^Thanks a lot!! That solved the problem.

After going to the "Have Disk" option I had to select the ICH-9M Drivers. Then rebooted and changed the mode to AHCI from the BIOS then Windows was runny properly.
Thanks again :)

You are welcome! Nice to hear that finally you've got what you wanted :)

P.S. This is the latest Intel Matrix and INF update links.

^Thanks again!!

Will be very useful to me in the future. But I have only old computers for now. And these drivers are running fine too. When there is a flaw, I'll upgrade. ;)

Thanks again :)
