U9200/Win7

Hi, if someone in this forum has a U9200 that was purchased with Vista and then upgraded to Win7, I'd like to know if/how you were able to keep the 3G/UMTS function working - thank you

I am with U9200 and after upgrading to W7 64bits I cant get the UMTS modem work,
Globetrotter connect keeps telling me "radio is off".
I have no access to enabling UMTS options from Bios (v1.11)
I had no access to easylaunck, which aparently does not work with W7 64 bits, but I ve kind of found a workaround to get it work, however the "UMTS" button is off and grey I can not activate.
Have you found a solution?

no, i havent found a solution, therefore i'd be interested in hearing about your workaround (although i'm with 32-bit w7)...
apparently your problem is different -> related to the connection button next to the power switch? mine works but i've seen a lot of talk about people having this kind of problem in this forum...

Yes, with W7 64 bits there is no more software for easylaunch, and therefore no way to activate the UMTS modem apparently... or thats is what I am looking for.

The "workaround" I ve found was rather to reinstall this software

But now even if software works it does not give me access to the UMTS activation....
arg....

I may end up buying external modem, this is stupid!

Ben si on parle français on peut éviter le chinois....
Bon, le support FS m'a suggéré de réinstaller le WirelessSelector... qui ne marche pas, mais je vais réessayer avec d'autres étapes infructueuses en combinant sait-on jamais....
