problem with V5535 - startup

I dropped my V5535 and now it won't work. It will switch on but then goes to a blank screen - if it is left for a while I then get the screen as per the pic.

I have tried inserting the startup disc I made when I first got the laptop, and have removed the hard drive and reinserted it in case it was disconnected, but nothing happens. I would really like to fix this myself if possible.

Any help would be MUCHappreciated.

hi do you have the install/restore disk you got with the machine. if so use that, it looks like an error in the boot up process.
