Ad a PCI graphic card to an ESPRIMO P5600

Postby Edvard Korsbæk » Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:09

This PC has an on board Graphic card - An mirage 330 as I remember it here.
I have not been able to find a Windows 7 driver for the graphic- All else runs smootly.
So, I bought a standard PCI card with drivers and tried to add it.
No particular problem with putting it in - It has a PCI slot, but it made both VGA outputs unuseable - I think i will have in some way to diasble the onboard card.

How to?

Or - How to get a driver for the onboard VGA?
It uses Standard VGA as driver now, rendering the games unusable including the standard games from Windows 7, which my beloved vife finds a problem :D

Well, now I feel a bit more than stupid :?
Reason for my problems was, that the PCI card was not 100% correct in the slot.
Starting up again, Windows 7 found the drivers and off you go...

Hi Edvard Korsbæk,

could you use BOTH IGA and additional GPU at the same time (dual screen)?

Kind Regards
