RAM UPGRADE/BIOS UPDATE PROBLEM

I have amilo Xi1554 i want to upgrade my ram to 4GB so i looked for bios and fujitsu-siemens haven't make new update since 2007 so my laptop accept only 2GB ram.
I found a bios from another company(that cares for it's customers) and i updated my bios with the bios update i found and put 4GB ram and worked really better.
Now the problem is with windows that doesn't activate cause of bios.
Can someone tell me what to do with this?

What version of windows?

I assume its the alienware bios you upgraded to

32bit for up to 3GB

64bit for more than this

so you either need to get a 1 GB stick or 64bit.

I told that it is bios problem.with fujitsu-siemens bios laptop doesn't even open with more than 2gb ram.
If i change bios microsoft tell me that windows aren't legal.I sent e-mail on fujitsu and i didn't got any answer at all.
I know about ram that windows supports.I tried to put 3gb but nothink.
I got this laptop on 2008 and fujitsu have to make bios update since 2007.
Can someone that knows find me a solution?
