Drivers Windows 7 on AMILO Notebook Xi 3650

Postby Menencia » Tue May 05, 2009 19:28

Well, today, Windows 7 RC comes out and i wonder when FS will update its drivers for that new OS. (especially we need for the hybrid card)

Or maybe we have to wait the Windows 7 RTM in October ?

May we have an answer about it ? (any dates ?)

Thanks !

Apparently the vista drivers for the hybrid graphics work on windows 7, although I haven't confirmed this for myself, it worked for a friend.

It will probably be a while before Fujitsu release their own, although nvidia have already put out drivers for windows 7, sadly the amilo hybrid graphics aren't supported by it.

Unfortunately, some weeks ago, a friend burned his hybrid card by launching Left 4 Dead on Windows 7 build 7000.

So, unless it came from the game, i don't want to take this risk x__x

Today, NVIDIA WHQL drivers of Windows 7, came out. But anything said about hybrid cards.

So, the question is to know if i'ts a good idea for us, having hybrid card, to pass on Windows 7 RC ..

..please, give your feedback on this.

How much battery life is saved when you're using Intel graphics other than Nvidia? I'm currently running Windows XP and there's no Hybird Graphics support so I use only Nvidia and it works fine.
