[Li3910] SATA drivers XP

Postby Moonman » Wed Feb 04, 2009 14:20

Hi,

I've seen a lot of topics about SATA drivers for XP, but none for the Li 3910.
Are the other drivers provided, workable for the Li 3910, or are there different drivers for it.
And if sop, can someone point me to them?

I've already installed nlite, so all I have to do is import the right SATA drivers.

Thanks in advance

cheers,
peter

Search for drivers here

http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/ ... index.html

It might be possible, to get your drivers using something like Double driver, or Driver max. Save the drivers to a folder using one of the above, then use nlite to integrate them.

Or, there might be something in the BIOS to change, to an IDE compatibilty mode. you will need to google for this.
Use anti virus, backup your data, use google.
POST BACK EVEN IF THE HELP DOESN'T HELP.

A Thank You would be nice if I have helped.

Hi Bubblegum,

Thanks for the reply.

No drivers for XP found on the FS website.

I did a BIOS update to 1.05.
I already contacted FS, and they told me to change the IDE settings in my BIOS.
But that doesn't work, because the only thing I can see in the Advanced settings is :

Boot Diagnostic Screen (Disabled)
Wake up on LAN (Disabled)

I can't change any IDE settings there.
I want to install XP on my Li3910, but the installation does not complete due to an error, the well known error ending on 07.
I already made an extra partition on my HD.
I want to use my laptop for recording audio. Vista is not DAW friendly, so I'd like to install XP.
But for some reason that seems to be impossible because FS did, obviously, not include the XP drivers on my laptop.

thanks,
Peter

Go to http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/ ... loads.html

in the top right search box put Amilo sata Li3910

This will come up with a long list of manuals & software.

If you pm me with your email address I can send you the Operating instructions, I also found SATA drivers for intel. If you want these, & can send you those as well. But the above link has several SATA drivers.
Use anti virus, backup your data, use google.

Hi,

Check out this forum
Go to here
There I found these drivers
Mind you, it is in German, but that's no problem, the drivers are for everyone.
SATA treiber für XP Setup is the right stuff.

Then go to this thread.
Download XP-iso-builder and do exactly as stated in 2.2

Make your own XP CD and there you go.
You only need to integrate the SATA drivers.

Now your laptop will see the XP CD and the installation will complete.
After the installation, go to the device manager and use the drivers in the link to install W Lan and Sound.
For your Graphic card I suggest to download the latest driver from the company, in my case that was Intel.

That did it for me.
