Terrible video performance on v5535

I bought a celeron esprimo V5535 yesterday- DVD playback is jerky- really bad- youtube is worse- sound is crackling and jerky images. How to resolve???

I got my laptop yesterday and am having exactly the same problems - my mobile phone plays music better than this laptop.

Please let me know if you get a result.

I have the same laptop and am really proud of it. I love it.

I have had no such problems, I am even able to run the super heavy game Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars on this laptop.

You should update all of your drivers and bios.

strange i had/have the same problems. so i upgraded memory to 4gig and slapped a t7300 2gig duo 2 ptocessor in it, and even dropping the ran allocation of graphics cards still is lacking on the dvd play side.

well the graphics suck considering its a 256meg embedded thingy.

Well I had an automatic windows update and it seems to work much better now. The video performance is still poor but then this is the 1gig basic machine. I think I should have spent more...How to upgrade this machine cheaply to make it faster etc? I mean I am stuck with the graphics right?

Will adding a 1 gb memory chip (£20 on ebay) make a difference?
