Postby Francisc » Mon Sep 15, 2008 19:50

Hello!

Where can I find the driver for the integrated webcam? In Device Manager it says Logitec VGA Webcam.

Ok... that driver didn't work. When I open the Logitec Software from webcams it says that I am using Windows Standard Drivers (or something like that). I can't see what the cam 'sees', I can't record video, when I try I get an error, but I can take pictures. But I don't know what is in the camera sight as I don't have on-screen video of real-time footage.

I have the same problem with my web cam. Can anyone help me to solve the problem? I downloaded the drivers, but cam won't start recording video, some error message is displayed..0x00c or something like that.
Thank you in advance

I have 3525 and the webcam works out of the box with generic Windows (XP) drivers! MSN and Skype are working just fine with this cam...
What OS are you all talking about, Vista or XP?

You have to enable the cam first - Fn + F7 and the camera blue light comes on!

I don't know how's with Pi 3525, but with my Pa 3515, the light is always blue.
And when I use it, it turns red.

When I brought it, I have installed Ubuntu, and later on Wincrap Sucksta (Windows Vista) together with Ubuntu.
I never had to install a driver, just press Fn+F7, and everything turns on/off.
In Ubuntu, just install and run Cheese.
And in Vista, just install and run Skype.
And everything works, as long as the light is blue (and red if it's used).

I think it would be the same with Pi 3525. ;-)
