[RX100S4] reset irmc password

Hello,

Is there a way to reset irmc password to default admin/admin as in factory settings? I forgot the password, looked in the bios, but there is no option to reset irmc.

Hello,

you can try this:

Load the latest Flash FW for iRMC for RX100S4 from the FSC download site.
http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/support/downloads.html

Create a bootable stick with it and boot from this stick.
When you're asked to flash iRMC stop the batch job. Now start "ipmiview" manually, which is on this stick. Here in ipmiview you can add/enter/change etc. your iRMC accounts

If you still have ServerView installed, you may be able to change the password from within the System Configuration Utility. Otherewise SCU is available on ServerStart

thanks, i'll give it a try when i come to the system.
i was studying manuals, but failed at point "boot from cd" as none of the 5CDs supplied with the system was bootable.
another funny part is, that in the irmc manual, password reset is not even mentioned, though i don't think it is a rare issue that the user forgets a password(after 3+ months without login to irmc).

anyway, i'll try all the possibilities, and i hope at least one of them will work
