Scansnap Organiser Moving Directory

Postby StuartG48 » Fri Sep 23, 2022 14:10

Hello, I'm new to this forum so please forgive any breaches of etiquette. (And am I in the correct part of the forum?)

I have a Scansnap IX500 scanner and have been using Scansnap Organizer on a Windows 10 PC for ages. I have a large directory with all my scanned documents in. I've just built a new Windows 11 machine and copied across all my directories and files. I installed Scansnap Organizer but it has given me a completely new set of Organizer cabinets.

How do I transfer my old Scansnap Files into the new Organizer? Is it just a matter of cut and paste? In a previous move some years ago I had a similar problem and just copied files across but lost a lot of functionality - mainly indexing. Is there a recognised way of doing it?
