[Amilo M] AMD Notebooks and MS VISTA

Postby geovision » Sat Apr 07, 2007 8:40

Dear all

I can confirm that updating the bios of our notebooks to the lates version is the only solution for the cool n quiet to work under VISTA. I have the A1630 and now, after upgrading the bios to 1.05, I can see the difference. It is useless to wait for AMD to issue a patch or a driver since it seems that VISTA reads the ACPI table from our BIOSes in a different way.
