S710 USB over DisplayPort

Hello support,

I'm using the S710 connected to an EZ2785 monitor from EIZO .
This monitor supports DisplayPort v1.2 up to the maximal resolution.

I'd like to use the USB over DisplayPort feature, so that my Keyboard / Mouse is connected through DisplayPort.

It does not work out of the box. The display is ok, but USB does not go through.

Is there anything to tune on the S710 ?

Hello!

The option is better known as "USB over AUX"; however this needs to be also supported by the GPU installed within the system. The cable can certainly perform the data transfer, but GPU's do not have a USB controller normally built-in.

We would advise you to check the GPU capabilities. This could tell you if the system supports this option.
