AH530 Fan dosn't work (Fan replaced)

Postby Tiger1702 » Mon Mar 11, 2019 15:11

Problem Description

I've been using a Lifebok AH530 for years.
I have noticed the following for a short while. When Notbookstart the fan goes up and audible (air flow) high.
As soon as the operating system is running (WIN10 or WIN7) the fan goes off and stays off.
Result: the CPU Temp goes quickly to over 80 ° C, then I can only shut down the laptop quickly to prevent damage.

So far undertaken:
- In the BIOS changeover from the fan control from "sielent" to "normal" => no improvement
- Revision flap on the laptop on, blown out very carefully with compressed air => no improvement
- Fan removed, cleaned, air outlet also cleaned, fan reinebaut => no improvement
- Fan replaced by original spare part => no improvement

Anyone else have an idea waran can do it or what else I could try?

Hello, the same problem happened to me, and for no reason the fan leaves when the computer turns on and then stops. I can not explain his effect. Is it a sensor?

I installed the last windows, then installed Ubuntu, the problem is the same, it does not depend on the operating system.
Can someone help? !!!

I get the following hint from the user "carl0s".

Downgrade BIOS to 1.19 but NOT in Windows.
Use a BIOS CD from the support side (FTS_BIOSFlashISOCDImageLifebookA530AH530_119_1064657.iso).

After flashing my AH530 Fan is now working again!
