Lifebook a514 wont boot Windows 10

Im trying to help a friend by sorting out his laptop for him.
Its a lifebook a514.
The Windows 10 partition on it has gone corrupt.
I downloaded a Windows 10 boot disc off the Microsoft website and burnt it to a Dvd.
The laptop is set to boot to Dvd.

When I boot it up a screen appears with "press any key to boot dvd/cd"
so I press a key and after a few seconds
a "Fujitsu" logo appears in white with a black backround and a dotted cirvle spins for about ainute then just a black screen with nothing happening for all eternity.
How do I get it to boot the disc?
Its not a fujitsu Dvd as I said I downloaded it off Microsoft but it should boot.

You may do better creating a bootable USB stick from the downloaded ISO. Especially if you have managed to use the DVD to boot in another machine.

Reason being, the DVD drive may be faulty so failing to read the media properly and not loading all data needed to progress with the install. I've worn out the DVD drive motor in my notebook and had to replace the drive with an identical new OEM model I located on the internet. It's wear and tear so even if it were still under warranty the optical drive isn't covered for that.
