Fujitsu Lifebook A514 Intel Core i3-4005U 4GB 500GB 15.6" Windows 10 pre-installed
I have supplied quite a few of these units over the last 6 months and most customers are experiencing intermittent shutdown and/or wake up issues.
Shutting the laptop down, the machine seems to close everything down, the screen blackens as if powered off but the blue power button light stubbornly remains on. The only way to restart the machine is to hold down the button for 5 to 10 seconds to completely shutdown before pressing it again to start up again as normal.
Also, when allowed to go in sleep mode it will not wake up at all by depressing any keys nor the power button. The power button has to be depressed as in the procedure described above in order to restart the laptop. It's not a satisfactory solution to the issues described. I have installed the latest graphics driver on offending laptops but there's no improvement. Has anyone got any clues?
