Thanks to Tom_A help I managed to try this Realtek driver, but unfortunately it didn't help. It didn't want to install itself through driver update. I installed it through "setup.exe", but it also didn't' show any positive results.
Now I want to try and write to the camera manufacturer (SunplusIT - http://www.sunplusit.com/english/service/qa.aspx), maybe they could help...

Hey all.
I've got this exact same problem. Webcam was fine before upgrading to windows 10. Now it just shows a blue screen & you can very lightly make out the image.
I've tried everything but had no joy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers :)

Hi, dunkdafunk.

As for now, I'm at the same place. But now I'm talking (in letters) to camera manufacturer support (SunplusIT) and they seem to be interested in the case.
I passed all the information to them (driver and OS versions, hardware IDs, screenshots, etc., incl. this topic link). After that they asked me to try the camera with Microsoft "internal" driver (you can try it yourself by disabling internet on the laptop (to cancel autoupdate to the newest driver) and deleting FJCamera driver with software (there's a checkbox during the confirmation for that)). Unfortunately, the result was the same: "blue haze" even with MS driver. I suppose, it means that the problem is not in SunplusIT driver, but they didn't answer me after that yet.

Evgeny and dunkdafunk, would you mind sharing screenshots of this blue haze ?

Bonus points if there is a cat sitting in front of the camera.

Simply attempted a linux 'live cd', which likewise demonstrated a similar issue. This appears as though it may be an equipment issue...

mclaren11, Linux Live CD is definitely a good idea. And yes, my experience with the manufacturer also shows that it should be not a driver issue. But I hope not a hardware also. "SunplusIT" received the dump of my webcamera's firmware during our last communication. And although it was about a week ago I still hope that the problem can be fixed somehow.

Hi, I don't think it's a hardware fault because one I roll it back to Windows 8, everything works :x

I believe it's a driver problem....

Ferdinand, hi.
Yes, yet it seems to be Windows 10 driver problem (some low-level issue maybe).
"SunplusIT" achieved some success with a new driver already and (I hope) are working on a total fix right now.

Hi, all.
"SunplusIT" came to a solution (many thanks to their specialists!) - they sent me a new driver, with which my camera works without that "blue haze" again.
I'm posting the link to it it here, but please use this file at your own risk! (my laptop model, with which it is working: "LIFEBOOK UH572 Notebook PC"): https://goo.gl/xUXR8T.
Hope it helps anyone else.

Ferdinand, not at all, thanks for your feedback.
I'm glad it worked for you, too. And all the thanks to "SunplusIT" specialists again!
By the way, I had just the same emotions about notebook functionality after this driver installation :)

Oh man! None of the drivers are working. Installed, reinstalled and rolled back with no luck :(

Tried the drives from @evgeny, which I'm thankful for anyway. Tried the online update, and another that support provides.

Do you guys think I missed something?

TKNASS, sorry to hear that :-(
Especially as you've got the same laptop model. It's strange, the last driver (through the dropbox link) should work. I think I installed it through "setup.exe" (and, as I remember, even a restart was not needed - the camera started working right after the installation). Maybe you should try to uninstall the drivers and install this one with the internet turned off (just to be sure)?

This is strange, my wife has the excat laptop, it worked with hers but not mine. There are no differences at all execpt that I have SSD, which I doubt is the cause. Oh, I also noticed that her laptop had an older version of the SunplusIT cam driver (2015). Can't remember mine though.

As for my laptop, tried to clean up the registries as well with no luck. It is obvously reverting to a core drive that I can't seem to change. I might just refresh WIN 10 (it's a PRO btw). What do you think?
