How to turn on the video adapter device in fujitsu lifebook ah532 / g21

Postby VerhovnyMenko » Thu Aug 16, 2018 12:25

Good day. I have a notebook fujitsu lifebook ah532/g21, bought it 6 years ago, it works fine.

Yesterday there was one situation - accidentally turned off the video adapter (or a video card or monitor) from the Device Manager http://prntscr.com/kjahwv (do not ask why this happened). A window opens with a message that the computer stop working, but I have confirmed by inertia. Computer turned off and stopped giving at least some signs of life: none of the indicators does not work, the fan does not rustle, does not turn on at all ....

On the Internet I searched and found 2 variants.
1) Reset the hardware settings https://laptop-info.ru/ne-vklyuchaetsya ... nyj-ekran/ but did not help (holding the power button for about 5 minutes without battery and battery, and left at night - not helpful)
2) Reload BIOS by unplugging the CMOS battery http://www.alphr.com/graphics-cards/100 ... r-graphics - but in this model it is very far-hidden https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYwetCrE4ow .... Maybe to carry the repair.

Somewhat adds doubt to this situation that the computer is not just a black screen and it does not turn on at all, so it seems that there might be some other breakdown. Although it turned off immediately after one of the two video adapters was turned off.

Can you advise me how to turn on a video adapter, or anything else? Will it be necessary to carry it all to repair?

I solved the problem with the disabled video adapter, using the 2nd version of "Restart BIOS by unplugging the CMOS battery"
http://prntscr.com/kjwwvy
To do this, I had to disassemble the whole laptop. It is worth saying thank you to the developers for this design (in other versions and in other laptops this battery is just under the back cover)
I Disassembled and collected using the video data:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rgbaw3xesBk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp6S1-7YzHg&vl=uk
Although the model is the same, but some differences are present (it was necessary to remove and lower the top cover and unscrew bolt under it). Nevertheless, disassembled, pulled out the battery, waited for 5 minutes, gathered. Inserting the battery and nothing ... Thought "it will be necessary to carry the repair" but wanted to try again with the power cable - turn on and light up the charge indicator (before, as I said, there was a dead at all), I turn on the computer and it works =)) .
Beauty - I just remains to solve the problem by which I turned off the video adapter, but I'll talk about it later.

I have also considered 2 variants besides the previous ones:
3) Extract and insert a video card - even more dark (go buy thermal paste).
4) Find what you need to switch to the motherboard (found instructions for other laptops)
Someone can say something about these options and their effectiveness?
By the way, thank you for timely tips on this issue;)
The topic can be considered closed.

Now I want to explain why I've turned off this video adapter. http://prntscr.com/kjx68z By the way - it's a very bad idea to allow the operating system to turn off devices that they do not then work ... By the way - in other computers, after turning off the video adapter just a dark screen (enough to be connected to another screen and so on) and not a corpse !!! This is another stone towards the developers.
So about the problem .... I updated the Skype, but he stopped working, I turned off the processes but it did not help. Then I restarted my computer and it happened http://prntscr.com/kjx85h (Internet and sound did not work and much more). I decided that somehow the drivers were flying, but they did not Install it again - then I went into the device and disconnected the video adapter at random (when it disappears, it's not necessary to restart the computer - you can simply turn off and turn on the audio devices). And I Accidentally clicked, not where it was needed ...
After I repaired the computer, I get the problem again (overloading the audio devices did not give anything). I tried to turn on devices through some program http://prntscr.com/kjxaor but it did not give anything. And here I realized that this is not the drivers do not work. it is service !!! (looking in the manager). I tried to enable them on http://prntscr.com/kjxb9l but nothing. Used several antiviruses - but nothing was found.
I thought it would be necessary to replace the windows, but I got a little bit angry - I went to msconfig and http://prntscr.com/kjxhyh - I thought it was a virus that started and disables services, but it turned out that the program I was talking about initially. But All services were disconnected on one date http://prntscr.com/kjxiqp. I turned them on and restarted my computer and everything worked http://prntscr.com/kjxjkd =)). But what turned off the services I not found ...
Hope this will be useful to someone if this happens.
