V5535 Ram ? after CPU upgrade

I have a V5535 with Celeron 540 fitted which is shortly to be upgraded to Core2 Duo T7300 (SLA45).
My question is will the existing DDR2 PC5300 2 x 1GB ram work with the 800MHz FSB.

I have done literally the exact same thing as you have done, which is upgrade the processor from the stock celeron to the T5700.

From what I can report so far, is that it works perfectly fine. I have came across no issues yet. But the processor has only been in there for a few days so its early days.

I have 'grasped the bull by the horns' and carried out the upgrade and like you I can confirm that, at the moment, everything is working correctly.
