my battery has been going bad with a while so i have been on mains power for the last few months ...moving rooms earlier i unplugged it and set it down ...which drained what was left in the battery ...now when i plug it in it doesnt boot ...the orange battery light is on but thats all .
it wont boot with the (dead)battery out either.
any ideas on what is wrong here ...or more to the point any ideas on how to fix this as a new laptop is out of the question .
