I have the same laptop and I'm using windows 7 perfectly.
First, make sure U update your bios to the latest.
Second, download the launch button (under tools and utilities) and card reader drivers from the fujitsu siemens site and install them.
As for graphic card drivers I downloaded the latest from ati site and moded the drivers with ati mobility modder which is awesome.

As for chipset and network adapters, windows 7 installes them automatically.
I know it is a bit annoying to collect all the drivers like that, but you only have to do it once and than back it up, however, this I can tell you win 7 works amazing on those notebooks and it well worth the pain.
