U9210 will automatically switch on

Hey,

my U9210 will automatically switch on, most when locked in the docking Station. No matter wether S3 or S4 status. It doesn´t switsch off again, so the Laptop stays on current during hours.

WOL is deactivated. Mouse or other interfaces are not used, that happens regularly in the night. sometimes already after switching off the computer.

ANy Ideas? Thanks a lot so far

By 'regularly' do you mean at a specific time of day? In that case, check wake-on-RTC (also called 'alarm') in BIOS (it can be also set by some installed software, but that requires user intervention).
If it happens immediately after turning off maybe the dock is faulty - does it have a power switch that could be stuck/triggered by some nearby cable etc.? Or does this happen also when the computer is out of the dock?

thanks for answering. I hopefully found the problem: I refreshed the intel-Lan-Drivers a few weeks ago and yesterday I found some WOL-Options in the settings, I disabled. There you find different WOL-Options.

Looks like I´ve found the problem and the solution.
