Display fault

Postby adb44 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 12:37

The display on my notebook (V5535) has an intermittent fault. At times, white areas show a bright turquoise, and black areas show as a bright red. This phenomenon occurs in varying degrees, with inappropriate colours alternating with normal display. When connecting the notebook to an external display monitor, these faults do NOT show. The systemdiagnostics programme does not flag up any problems. Attachment PB043716 shows this forum's page on my notebook, and attachment PB043717 shows the same page a few moments later on an external monitor, linked to the notebook.

Hello, just try usual steps: install other sis vga driver, or/and other os (win 7 for example). If the problem persists - it's will be hardware, so you need to go to the F/S service. My v5535 working like a champ with win7.
