Why I hate Fujitsu Siemes again:Conexant 5045 (CX2059) SPDIF

When I purchased my v5505 it was stated it has 5.1 channels output trough SPDIF. But Spdif cannot be enabled. In the volume properties the "advanced controls" tab is shaded (disabled). Actually this stupid sound card the Fujitsu put in my laptop doesnt support SPDIF not phisically and not by software (driver Conexant)

-i am using the latest drivers from Fujitsu downloads for v5505 (the driver is Conexant FTS_AudioConexantCX20549_340052_1015760 dated in 2007)
-i have a 5.1 sound system and connected it to the laptop using a coaxial cable (works fine with my desktop PC)

Again disappointed by Fujitsu. Hope it will disappear soon. I hate it...

Any idea how to boost the sound on this Conexant chips?
