Ubuntu on Esprimo Mobile V6545 glare

Hello,

My intention is to install Ubuntu 9.04 (32 bit version) on my new laptop Esprimo Mobile V6545 coming on next Monday.

Q1: Does someone have experience with that model and Ubuntu ?

Q2: The video card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 . Is it working with Ubuntu?

I try to prepare well for that task...

Q2: Apparently not yet with 9.04 but yes with 8.10

Try installing the drivers from here, some say that it works for them (scroll down for Linux x86) http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

(Mandriva usually works well out of the box but I dont know about that ATI card of yours)
