[U9200] just got my new esprimo!

I just got my new laptop, what's the best to protect the battery and not let it deteriorate fast. Is there a program to control that or something? Should I keep the charge to 80 or 90% and unplug it?

Yup, my esprimo U9200 also have the same problem. Battery drained during it was shutdown or hibernate.
I was lucky to find this link...which solved my problem..

basically, what you need to do is go to>>
Start: Control Panel: System: Hardware: Device Manager: Network Adapters: [Select it]: Power Management, click to sellect allow the computer tp shut down the LAN when laptop is off. Then restart and in the BIOS (press F2 or F12) and disable Wake-on-LAN there, too.
