[V5505] Rebooting/Reinstalling Windows Vista

This may sound like a stupid question but I have looked everywhere on the internet for an answer and couldn't find one...

How exactly do I Reboot my computer and reinstall Windows Vista if something goes wrong? The OS was preinstalled on the laptop when I bought it, but no software seems to reside on the actual computer to do such a thing... I also didn't get a Windows vista recovery disk?

Please help...

Download Vista SP1 integrated from M$.
Install it and import the FSC cert and the key for your version of Vista.
Here is the FSC cert:

Here are some Vista OEM keys:

Install the cert like this:
Copy and rename to c:\fsc.xrm-ms.
Open comand prompt and type:
c:
cd\
slmgr.vbs -ilc fsc.xrm-ms
slmgr.vbs -ipk xxxxx.xxx

xx= key for your ver. Vista, manufacturers does not matter.

If your computer came with Vista preinstaled you can use this to activate.
But if you try to activate Dell computer this way or a FSC computer that came without Vista, it won't activate.
So this metod only works for people who payed their OS.
