ive got the same lappy go to the bios think its f2 then got to the boot tab

so if you want to put the usb last use the - key
if you want to move one up use the + key

note if the last boot and you want to move it up you have to move the second to last one first

hope this helps :)

aly369 thanks!

Sorry for my bad english but.....

I w'd like tell that the - /+ not changed the priority (like the other Siemens's PC)

For example :
if the actual priority is:
1. USB
2. CD
3. HD

if i go on to CD and i press + the CD not changed it priority

Again thanks

You can try changind the priority of the devices with PgUP/PgDn as well as with +/-.
Do you save your new settings after you make the changes ??
Couse this kind of problem is not that usual, couse your bios seems to be working well, that is if you are able to boot, which I think you can.
I dont think that there is some problem with your bios at all.
If you want me I can check it for you, but you will have to save your bios that is curently loaded in your RAM.
Folow this guides on how to save it:
Install and open hwdirect, go to memory dump. Enter fff00000 without "h" and size 100000 without "h", press dump.
Right click into window, select all, right click again, copy. Paste as new file into winhex. (Open winhex and press Shift + insert key) Make sure ASCII-hex is selected. Save file and upload, please!

To get Hwdirect to run under 64 bit, press F8 at startup and disable driver enforcement. This will last for one session only and allows Hwdirect to run.

Note. If you cant register WinHex, use HexWorkshop.

b) go to memory dump................ok
c) Enter fff00000 without "h" and size 100000 without "h", .....what means "without "h" ?????????
d) press dump .........................ok

The "h" means Hex, I should not have broth it up, couse I just coused unnecesary confusion.. :?
When you presed the dump button, were there only zeros displayed in the window of the HWDirect ?
Use HexWorkshop wich is much better and have more options, couse you dont have a registered WinHex.
Here is a download link for you:

You are douing something wrong..
The file should be the size of 1048576Bytes or 1024 KB or 1MB.
To instert it in HexWorkshop do the folowing:
1. Copy the data from HWDirect, as described in the previous posts.
2. Open HexWorkshop
3. Selet "New" from the "File" menu.
4. Select "Paste Special" from the "Edit" menu and make shure that "BinaryData" is marked on the "Paste Special" window.
5. Save the file and upload.

You will know if you done the procedure wright or not by the size of the file.

Code: Select all

'Keys used to view or', 0Dh, 'configure devices:', 0Dh, 'Up and Down arrows', 0Dh, 'select a device.', 0Dh, '<+> and <-> moves', 0Dh, 'the device up or down.', 0Dh, '<f> and <r> specifies', 0Dh, 'the device fixed or ', 0Dh, 'removable.', 0Dh, '<Shift + 1> enables or', 0Dh, 'disables a device.', 0Dh

This text is extracted from the bios you provided and it displayes the availabe control keys, which you propably see already.
It seems that you dont have english keyboard, so th ekeys are changed.

Edit. Just now I've seen which keys are you refering to.
At that place by default at English keyboards are "+" and "-".
