V2010 on Win 7

Postby gsebs » Fri May 08, 2009 4:44

Just put this onto my computer and it seems to be running quite fine, hopefully the people at via hyperion will put out some compatable driver so I can give it a full test run, the only thing I have done is add a little ram up to 512 which seems to run it nicely but am going to go to 1024 soon. BTW only running 32bit

What wireless driver did you use?

After running Windows Update via a wired connection, I have a wireless driver - but cannot connect to a network as the wireless isn't turned on. XP used the "launch manager" to do this, but I've installed this on Windows 7 and it has no effect.

Any other way I can enable the wireless?

I have V2010 and installed automaticaly the driver for the wireless and I have not problem now with this. I am with Windows 7 Ultimate if it matters. I even found any ALPS drivers for the touch pad which is worked for me. The only problem is the graphics adapter hasn't drivers for WIN7 and it installed driver for "Standart VGA Adapter". Did you solve this problem with the video adapter and which drivers did you use for the Via/S3 Unichrome Pro?
