I have recently had to re-install Windows on my laptop but it will not install. I boot from the CDROM, it loads the blue screen and copies files, then when its on the next screen where it asks to setup Windows the keyboard just will not accept anything i press as if the system has hung, no num lock, no caps, no enter no esc, nothing. I have tried installing Windows 2000, Windows XP Home and XP Pro and even a Beta release of Vista, no OS will install at all. I tried Windows 98 as well, though i can get into safe mode on that, i cant properly load into the normal way. I have searched on google and this forum for answers but i find no reference to this problem. please somebody help me, i havent got an OS installed at all at the moment due to trying various things, i just dont know what to do
