280w PSU to 400w PSU upgrade

Postby RoboHump » Fri May 06, 2022 20:16

Hi, Can you please help with some info I need to know.

I may have to upgrade the PSU on my Celsius W570 from the 280w to a 400w due to fitting a AMD WX7100 Pro graphics card.

Max current it draws is 130w, please tell what is the max wattage can be drawn from the PCI x16 socket on the main board using the 280w PSU.

Please tell what is the part number for the 400w PSU as fitted to the Celsius W570 power model.

All the best RoboHump

Dear RoboHump,
Thank you reaching out Fujitsu.

Please note that WX7100 is not recommended accessory for Celsius W570.
PSU used in Power version has below material number.
Material number: 38049288
Part number: S26113-E594-V50-1
Description: PSU 360W 90+
Unfortunately we don't have data of maximum wattage on PCI port.

Hi,

You say AND WX 7100 is not a recommend accessory for Celsius W570.

Specification data sheet for my W570 it is a approved graphic card for my W570.

Are you referring to 280W or the 400W PSU.

Also can you please tell me the WX 7100 requires a six pin power cable which I have
the six pin socket header on the mainboard is it alive with 280w PSU or does the 400w have a additional power cable which connects to the six pin socket on mainboard.

I really appreciate you help on this matter.

Thanks for the interesting technical info for the different PSU fitted to the W570 computers, from that info it answered one my query's as to what PSU I need to operate my AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100 graphic card, but your response has a hint of damage limitation feel about it.

Though my graphic card is clearly shown in the computer data sheet as an approved accessary for my W570 and with no waning want so ever as to what model W570 it should be fitted to, I don’t think I’m being unreasonable expecting it to work on my W570 computer.

Clearly it was a mistake, error for it to be added to the computer data sheet for my W570, in the circumstances it would have been nice if Fujitsu offered to help me with the additional cost of an replacement PSU, after all said and done it wasn't my mistake.

Once you press 'download file' you will open it and press 'creat report' button, then you will export to HTML and press 'OK' .
This procedure should open a SYSTEMSCAN Result.

Now I know why you sent me the like that I did not ask for, your playing a game gust to try to change the topic.
Witch is how Fujitsu W570 spec data sheet has mislead me to buy a high level graphic card witch will not work on my W570 computer with the current PSU.

I have given Jujitsu the opportunity to help with some sort of jester regarding upgrading PSU witch will cost me an additional £108.00, but no all I got was a goby gook let out clause at the bottom of the data sheet.

There is no point in you replying the this post. :(

Hi,

You have asked me to attach generated system scan HTML file to the call, please tell what's the call? because I have never heard sending a file "using the term call".

Is this term meant to confuse, well you have succeeded in confusing me.

Many thanks.

Dear RoboHump,
Thank you for contacting us.

Without the logfiles we can't see the technical details to provide the technical support - which is our main task.

..a call = PID = this case (PID nr 233747615)
.
Kind regards,
