R920 memory upgrade

Hi,
I have a Fujitsu R920 workstation.
Dual processor, 8x4 GB DDR3 1600Mhz RegECC rams. It worked perfectly. Yesterday I replaced the rams with 8x16 GB ddr3 RegEcc 1600Mhz ram. These rams are tested, flawless.
The 8x16 ram was in the same place where the 8x4 was.
After switching on, only one channel worked, only 16GB of the 128GB ram.
I switched back to 8x4 GB, the same is true after turning it on, but only 4GB of that works, so one of the quad channels.
There is no ram error.
What could be the problem?
What is the solution?
