I have 2 Fujitsu laptops. The 15" one has a metal hard drive caddy. The smaller 14" one has a rubber caddy that fundamentally sits rubber at the corner of the hard drive. This would not so bad, excluding there's a big sheet of rubber glued to the bottom of the hard drive as well. This is one of the most retard things I have seen in laptop designs.
Presume I was to put back the hard drive. I am screwed b/c it needs that sheet of rubber at the bottom to support it, which is glued shut to the original hard drive. Does anyone initiate a way around it, or am I damned to buy a hard drive caddy for the optical bay, which does not have or need rubber to hold the HDD in place?
